The Department is always keen to plan and implement training and
research programmes to suit the requirement of the changing environment. The
major programmes now on the anvil include:
Starting of a Post-graduate Diploma course in Medical
Informatics/ Documentation
Conducting need-based Specialised Short term Courses
Establishing an Advanced Centre for Information Technology with
the assistance of UGC for teaching and research in information technology.
