      In Addition to these the Department has hosted quite a good number of seminars on various facets of library and information Science at the state level as well as at the regional level. Under the auspices of the Prof K A Isaac Endowment the Department  conducts workshops and short term courses, on a regular basis once in two years. These programmes aim at continuing professional development of practicing librarians.
