The minimum qualification for admission to the course is M.L.I.Sc or qualifications recognised as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% marks.  Relaxation in the minimum  marks will be allowed in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward communities will be given as per the Government rules in force.  Admission will  be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and an interview or written test in the proportion 50:50.
